Promoting the Culture of the Pipe Organ

To help promote the pipe organ and organ music in modern culture, APOBA engages in the following activities:

• Sponsorship of Pipedreams, a radio program featuring pipe organ music from all over the world.
• Monthly full-page promotions in The American Organist magazine.
• Sponsorship of the production of "Pulling Out All the Stops" and "Make A Joyful Noise," videos about pipe organs created by the American Guild of Organists.
• Sponsorship of Pipe Organ Encounters.
• Informational exhibits at conventions, including the conventions of the American Guild of Organists, the American Institute of Organbuilders, etc.

Organ Resources

In addition to these efforts, APOBA has worked to publish materials that are useful to individuals, organizations, educational institutions, and communities who are interested in promoting the pipe organ and building new pipe organs. These resources can be found in our Resource Center.

Our members promote and sponsor programs, including concerts, public lectures, and public exhibits that can be found in our calendar.
